I went in for Sunday lunch with my family and I had a really good experience. The food came to the tables so quickly. The portions were really good and the food itself was really delicious. The garden is amazing and it was a lovely sunny day.I don't know the ecological.

Went in for "bar snacks". Not on menu so we were offered "starters". These were very good alternatives - just the sort of thing we wanted really.
Staff were very helpful and flexible. One of us needed gluten free food and staff were very accommodating.
It was all good so we added desserts - also with gluten free options.
Will certainly go back to again.

Terrible experience overall and would definitely not recommend this place. It looked lovely and had a nice overall atmosphere but the staff were non-existent and the ones we interacted with barely summoned up any polite words.
We waited forever to have our orders taken. Barmaid was rude to one of the members of our party. We had items missing from our order and some of the food came out cold. Burgers were not good value and the chips were overpriced, £7.50 for loaded fries that was barely a decent portion was insane. Another member of staff knocked food all over our table and then asked if it was ok or we wanted new ones? I tried to complain about the coldness of the food but the waitress was already gone.
Would not recommend going if it’s busy.

Came in for Sunday and there were very busy (everyone came out with the sunshine I guess) . Very glad we booked so we could sit in the restaurant. The service was very speedy, with only a small wait on food , which was surprising because of how busy it looked.
The wait team were amazing! Can’t praise enough, always checking in with us and remained very calm with the full restaurant.
The food was the highlight! We each had roast dinners and were delighted with the quality. The gravy was especially delicious.
Will be back again!

Went in for a Sunday roast with the family and the experience was amazing ! Couldn’t believe the quality of the food and how fast the kitchen managed to get it to us when they were extremely busy. The atmosphere was great with a nice country style pub. The beer was excellent and can tell it’s been well maintained and the team were lovely with some great service throughout. You can tell it’s being managed really well.
Will definitely be back again! Make sure you book as this seems to be the place to be on any given Sunday !

Dreadful meal. Chicken full of bones. Chausseur gravy swimming in oil. Impossible to eat. A very unpleasant experience. Felt quite nauseous with the amount of oil in this meal. Cannot believe this substandard meal cost £95!!

Written by my 10 year old son who is gluten and dairy intolerant: amazing, quality food in my top ten gf and dairy free pubs/restaurants came here on Sunday and had a whole menu of burgers with gf and dairy free options. When it came to pudding all pudding was gf and some vg I chose the gf and dairy free sticky toffy with salted caramel.AMAZING.

We arranged my father’s wake at The Dulwich Woodhouse and Sam and Mariah who managed the event for us were wonderful; kind, supportive and thoughtful in helping me create a unique and sensitive experience for all Dad’s family and friends. The food and drink were great, service exceptional and they made everything easy for us.
If you need an event venue, for anything, - these guys are brilliant.

We had a great time here for my mum's 60th birthday - the team were very responsive during the booking process and reserved a lovely space for twenty of us. The staff were very helpful on the day and the food was brilliant - lots of compliments all round!

Normally such a good spot for food or drinks but came for the rugby and was incredible disappointed. Booked a table in the Paxton Lounge only to find it was totally cordoned off with a sign saying it was booked for 'locals': choice was then a tiny screen in the bar area or a larger one in the outside tent.

Ordered an awful, overpriced and undercooked Sunday roast which took an absolute age to arrive. Our visit began with a badly poured Guiness which cost over £7 per pint.
Staff seemed very put out that we asked them to clear a table of the previous customers’ leftover dishes. We then had to ask again for the table to be wiped down. And then ask again for cutlery. A final request for sauces was completely ignored.
Appreciate that it was a busy Sunday but service really was not good.

This is a terrible pub. The Sunday roast was the worst we’ve ever had in any pub - a combination of overcooked, undercooked and cold ingredients of really low quality, plus it took 40 mins to arrive. The staff are rude, tables don’t get cleared, everything is sticky and dirty. No one seems to be managing the place.

This morning my 6y old son and I were looking forward to a good Woodhouse breakfast. Checked the website for opening times: Sat & Sundays from 10:00am. The doors were closed at 10:20, however we gestured at a lady inside working a laptop. She came to us (👍) to ask and I asked 'you're open isn't it?'
'no we open at 11:30' 'Your website tells it's from 10 in the weekends!?'
'We'll take a look' and she closed the door. Not any apology or 'sorry you've come all this way' etc... My son concluded ' veeery not good customer service'. Agree. A pity, because in general food & service are great

A huge thank you to Mariah and the team at the Woodhouse for hosting my late mother’s wake last month. Mariah was very supportive and helpful at such a difficult time. The snug area was just perfect and the food and service excellent. Would highly recommend.
